Covid-19 Updates

In case of cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic will the RC Show issue a refund or convert to an online format?

We understand these are uncertain times and we want to ensure your safe and stress-free participation in RC Show 2022.

RC Show will refund all tickets purchased (RC Show, Breakfast With Champions, Industry Night Out, etc.) in the event of the inability to attend due to:

  • Positive COVID-19 test (must provide medical documentation).
  • In case of any act of government, which makes travel and/or attendance unrealistic, such as the introduction of a quarantine, lock downs etc.
  • Cancellation of the RC Show and/or any of the RC Hospitality Week events

This refund policy does not include any hotel, or travel reservations such as airfare, train or bus reservations made in order to attend RC Show 2022. Each of these organizations would need to be contacted for cancellation separately and their cancellation policies would apply.

What health and safety measures have been put in place for the RC Show?

All of the federal, provincial and local health and safety guidelines will be strictly followed to ensure everyone’s safety including;

  • Proof of vaccination (Your second dose must be administered at least 14 days before arrival at the event to be considered fully vaccinated) with valid ID for entry or medical exemption papers
  • Hand sanitizer stations at entrances, regular intervals and in high traffic areas
  • One-way foot traffic in the aisles
  • Physical distancing protocols and markers
  • Face masks required, etc.

The RC Show team is working closely with the Exhibition Place and Toronto Public Health to keep the public safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. We continue to monitor this situation closely and will provide ongoing updates as needed.

Has Exhibition Place upgraded ventilation, etc?

Exhibition Place is the first Canadian venue to receive the GBAC Star™ Facility Accreditation. If COVID-19 restrictions are still in place and attendance is limited, will the RC Show have contingency plans in place to handle/limit attendance?

The trade show floor is 290,000 sq ft (Halls A, B, C) providing a capacity for 10,000 people, allowing ample space to follow physical distancing guidelines and exceed many capacity requirements.

Will exhibitors and attendees be required to show a vaccine certificate to enter the building?

The RC Show team will follow the mandate of the Ontario province and each person who enters the Show will be required to show proof of double vaccination with valid ID (your second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine must be administered at least 14 days before your arrival at the event to be considered fully vaccinated). The RC Show team is committed to keeping all those involved in the show safe and will keep communication lines open leading up to the start of the Show. What are the dates, hours and location of RC Show 2022?

RC Show 2022 is being held in-person at the Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario.

February 27, 10:00am - 5:00pm
February 28, 10:00am - 5:00pm
March 1, 10:00am-4:00pm

Virtual access is also available and includes live-streamed programming from the Speaker, Culinary and Bar & Beverage Stages plus access to RC’s 365 Digital Marketplace.

When will you release the schedule of programming and events for the RC Show?

We are constantly updating our schedule at a glance. The schedule is subject to change therefore check back for updates and new additions!

Are there discounts if I buy multiple events?

The All-Access VIP Pass at $249 is our all-inclusive deal with the biggest discounts - Save $150 over the door price. Price goes up Feb 27, 2022

How do I register for the Breakfast With Champions event?

You can register for this event and any other RC Hospitality Week event when you register for your RC Show Pass. If you’ve already purchased your show pass and would like to add any of the Hospitality Week Events, you can add to your existing registration by logging back in with your email and the password you created. 

Can I use a credit card or a cheque to register?

We accept VISA, MC and AMEX. We do not accept cheques, purchase orders or wire transfers.

Are substitutions permitted on my purchased RC Show Flex Pass?

There are no substitutions permitted.

Will badges be mailed in advance of the show?

We do not mail out badges. In order to avoid line-ups you should print your RC Show badge at home in advance or pick it up on-site at the Pre-Registration Counter - be prepared for line-ups if you are choosing this option.

All attendees must pick up their badge holders from the Badge Holder Pick Up counter.

What do I do if I lose my badge during the Show?

Lost badges must be re-printed and cost $99. Visit the On-site Registration counter in the galleria of the Enercare Centre to have your badge re-printed.

Do I have to be a Restaurants Canada member to attend?

No, you do not need to be a member however RC Members get in FREE! Want to sign up? Visit restaurantscanada.org to learn more about joining.

Do RC members receive complimentary Passes to attend the RC Show?

Yes, independent operator members will receive 4 and suppliers will receive 2 complimentary badges. Chain members have specific allotment numbers depending on their size. For more information, call our Membership department at 1-800-387-5649 x 8006 or email members@restaurantscanada.org.

Does the RC Show have hotel and travel partner discounts?

Is shuttle service provided to the Enercare Centre?

Shuttle buses will be available to and from hotels listed above (excluding Hotel X Toronto located across the street) between these hours:

Sunday February 27: 8:00am - 8:00pm

Monday February 28: 8:00am - 6:00pm

Tuesday March 1: 6:00am - 6:00pm

Attendance & On-site Services

Who may attend the RC Show?

If you work in a foodservice or hospitality business - owner, operator, president, c-suite executive, manager, chef, cook, bartender, mixologist, barista, sommelier, cicerone, caterer, hotelier, buyer, distributor, broker, or other foodservice professional - this is a must-attend event. Whether you are shopping for the latest equipment or innovative products and services, looking for the next best thing to include on your menu or learning ways to grow your business, the RC Show is YOUR all-inclusive event!

Are children or pets allowed in the RC Show?

No one under the age of 19 is allowed on the trade show floor. There are no exceptions. Absolutely no babies or children are allowed at any time.

Pets are not allowed. However, this does not apply to guide dogs or service animals. A guest with a disability accompanied by a guide dog or service animal will be allowed access.

Is there a coat check?

Yes, there is a coat check next to the Registration counter located in the Galleria at the Enercare Centre.

Will Wi-Fi be available at the RC Show?

Yes, there is complimentary Wi-Fi for all attendees and exhibitors.

Where can I get a wheelchair or mobile scooter for the RC Show?

Exhibitor Support Centre offers rentals. Located adjacent to Exhibit Hall D.

What is the dress code?

There is no dress code. But there’s no harm in dressing to impress.

Trade Show Floor & Exhibitors

Can I buy something at the RC Show and remove merchandise from the Show floor?

Yes, however, the exhibitor must provide you with a receipt in order to walk out with merchandise.

How many exhibitors will be at the RC Show 2022?

We have over 500 industry specific supplier companies with everything you need to run your operation.

Can attendees see a list of RC Show exhibitors?

Yes, you can login to the registration site after February 14, 2022 to view a list of exhibitors. At that time, you may utilize the category search and set up meetings with exhibitors of your choice by using the Match-Making & Meetings System.

When will I receive my RC Show Guide?

Printed Show Guides will be distributed on-site at the entrance of the RC Show.

How do I make the most of my time at the RC Show?

We have refined the Match-Making & Meetings System (formerly RC Show Meeting & Conference Planner tool), and set up our registration process to allow attendees to identify the categories of products they are looking for and match you to the exhibitors that offer those product categories. This tool will be available starting February 14, 2022 and accessed by logging back into your registration using your email and the password you created.

Can I set up buying meetings at the RC Show?

The Match-Making & Meetings System (formerly RC Show Meeting & Conference Planner tool) will allow you to pre-arrange meetings with exhibitors of interest.
